2011 Topps finest football is out and there is already a an error.
(this pic was borrowed from the blowout forums only to prove a point)
How can Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen both have the same jersey number on the cards? Did they not proof read the cards before they went through the manufacturing process? Is this a prank pulled by the rookies at the photo shoot? Aye Aye Aye!

It's not really an "error". The guys at the Rookie Premiere wear a bunch of different jerseys and I bet if they showed the back it would br the name of a different player. So I don't doubt they both had number 34 jerseys on. I believe Mark Ingram was tweeting pics of all the different jerseys he was asked to wear at the event. Another reason why jersey swatches are useless since they put them on for 10 seconds and they become "Event Used".
Yeah I saw the Mark Ingram Jersey Mess. Really kind of sad. It's just funny that topps didn't air brush another number on it like they did with Randy Moss's rookie cards (the whole 18/81 Fiasco.
They could make the effort to fix it but they don't.
