Death by Furby......only in the lovely old state of PA

Saw this on the news and had a good chuckle over it. Especially when my son asked if I thought the PS Remote would break. Really must've been a slow day in Pittsburgh for news.

Pa. woman charged with assault after throwing toy

PITTSBURGH (AP) - A western Pennsylvania woman faces a charge of simple assault after police say she threw a Furby toy and a PlayStation remote at her boyfriend.
The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported Thursday (http://bit.ly/YF7t4W ) that 27-year-old Ashley Trimmer was fighting with her live-in boyfriend over a Facebook post.
She allegedly hit him on one side of the head with the fuzzy toy and on the other side with the remote control.
Police tell the newspaper the boyfriend had red marks and suffered a small cut but didn't require hospital treatment.

From the LCS $5.00 auto box: Russell Wilson Edition

My LCS (Denny's Cards and Creations) now has a $5.00 autograph box. There was dozens of certified autographs from the year 1998 and up in it with some of them being first round picks who would never be heard from again after one season. Some of them were career long minor league players. There were even a few semi star players as well as I got closer to the end of the box. Then when I got to the end of the stack and it was the last card I was surprised to have found this little guy:

This guy was at the end of the line or so it seems like it's been that way for Russell Wilson for most of his life. Everybody told him he wouldn't make it in the NFL as an undersized third-round pick, (5ft11", 208lbs). I would say he made some pretty bold statements in the way that he played in his rookie year. Russell was very efficient!
This card is the 2012 Press Pass Fanfare Autos and it's #90/199.

I gave into the peer pressure........welcome topps 2013

Just like a scene from the after school tv specials in the 80's I felt like I was getting peer pressured into buying Topps 2013 Baseball at my LCS. There was an old fat guy sitting on a tiny stool from across the room who was saying to me, "you might want to try a box of them big packers. You might get something special in them because I did." He then proceeds to show me an autographed card of Dee Gordan. He then tells me that Dee is a hot item in a Dodgers uniform. I politely declined his offer and then I asked for a box of jumbo baseball and then I headed out the door quickly because I could not contain my laughter much more.

When I got home I opened up my box of jumbo 2013 Topps Baseball with much anticipation as I was very curious to see if I could pull one of the Cy Young relic cards. For some odd reason I have found myself to be liking these cards very much.

Here are the damages:

Chasing History Andre Ethier Game Used Jersey Card.

JACKPOT

Roy Halladay Cy Young Relic card.

Some die cut cards of Matt Cain, Dustin Pedroia, and Carlos Gonzalez. I might send these to the players to see if I can get them autographed.

Jarrod Parker Chasing the Dream autographed card. THOSE BLOODY WANKERS WITH THEIR BLOODY STICKERS! Okay I'm done complaining. If that's Jarrod's signature that is.......really......bad!

DING DING DING we have a winner!

Dylan Bundy Camouflage Edition. It's limited to 99 copies and I will let you guess what the serial number is out of 99.
